4. Books ordered through Amazon

Some printed Chloe's World books purchased directly through Simply Isa are ordered through Amazon and sent directly to the delivery address provided by the customer.

For these orders, Simply Isa provides Amazon with the information needed to order and deliver the book, such as the recipient's name and delivery address.

This information is provided to Amazon only for the purpose of ordering and delivering the book.

Amazon processes information it receives in accordance with its own privacy policies.

Before continuing with an order that is fulfilled through Amazon, you will be asked to acknowledge that the necessary name and delivery details will be provided to Amazon.

This acknowledgment does not give Simply Isa permission to use your information for marketing or for unrelated purposes.

Ordering for someone else

If you ask Simply Isa to send a book or another product directly to someone else, you may provide that person's name and delivery address.

Please only provide another person's personal information when you are authorized to do so, and make sure they understand that their information will be used for the purpose of delivering the order.

5. Personalized Chloe's World products

Some Chloe's World products can be personalized.

For example, when ordering a personalized printable book, you may provide a child's first name so that it can be included in the product.

The information provided for personalization is used only to create and deliver the requested product and to provide customer support relating to that order.

Simply Isa does not use a child's name for advertising, marketing or profiling.

If you provide a child's name or other information for a personalized product, please only do so when you are authorized to provide that information.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by the payment service provider available to you at checkout.

Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security procedures.

Simply Isa does not receive or store your complete credit or debit card details.

The Simply Isa website and online shop are hosted by Squarespace.

Squarespace processes information necessary to provide website hosting, ecommerce, security and related services.

Information that you provide directly to Simply Isa through the website, such as information entered into an order or form, may be processed by Squarespace on behalf of Simply Isa.

Squarespace explains its processing practices in its own Privacy Policy.

8. Cookies and website usage

The Simply Isa website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website and shop to function correctly.

Squarespace may also use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as security, website functionality and understanding how the website is used.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will only be used in accordance with the choices you make through the website's cookie settings.

10. Contact forms and messages

If you contact Simply Isa or submit information through a form, the information you provide is used to respond to your message, provide the requested service or deal with your enquiry.

These may include:

Where data protection law requires appropriate safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant service provider may use safeguards such as approved contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

14. How long information is kept

Personal information is not kept longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

The length of time information is retained depends on the type of information and why it was collected.

For example:

  • order and transaction information may be retained for customer service and as required for accounting, tax or other legal obligations

  • information relating to an enquiry may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up
