Simple tools that help me every day.

Simply Support

I say the prayers every night before I go to sleep, they help me drift off peacefully and start the next day with a calm mind.

Sometimes I use them during the day too, when I need a little boost. And when things feel off, I focus on my breath. It always brings me back to feeling grateful and calm.

Maybe they’ll support you too.

Everything Begins with Learning

One thing that has helped me more than I ever expected is understanding that learning, whatever it is, always happens in four steps.

When you think about it, it’s the same process we all go through when learning to tie our shoes or drive a car:

  1. You don’t know you can’t do it.
You’re unaware there’s even something to learn.

  2. You realize you can’t do it.
The first time you try, you notice it doesn’t go as smoothly as you hoped.

  3. You can do it when you think about every step.
Slowly, it starts to work, but only with complete focus and concentration.

  4. You can do it without thinking.
One day, it becomes second nature.

Remembering this keeps me patient and kind with myself whenever I’m learning something new.
Everything is easier when we understand the process, and therefore, my life’s motto is: You don’t know what you don’t know.

The voices that guide me

Over the years, I’ve met many teachers, some in person, most through their books, words, and energy.

Their wisdom has touched my heart, shaped my understanding of life, and reminded me that we are never alone on this journey.

These voices, each in their own way, helped me remember who I am.

They showed me that true growth happens when we come back to love, to gratitude, and to ourselves.

Instant Healing, My ‘bible’

Instant Healing by Susan Shumsky came into my life when I needed guidance most.
It’s filled with what she calls “prayers,” though to me they feel more like affirmations, powerful words that shift your focus and energy.

In the beginning, I struggled with the word God. For me, the word Universe felt more natural. Over time, I realized they both point to the same loving energy that connects us all.

I now use this book intuitively, sometimes reading a few prayers on a specific topic, other times opening it at random and trusting the words I find. And every night, I say my version out loud.

These prayers calm my mind and gently redirect my focus.
They help me shift back to gratitude, joy, and a sense of peace.
They make me smile, see the good again, and fall a little more in love with life every time.

Listen to Prayers

Breathing is healing

And when my mind feels too full or my heart needs space to breathe,

I literally do just that.

I breathe.

A few deep, conscious breaths, and everything slows down again.

My body softens, my thoughts untangle, and peace quietly returns.

Breathing has become my simplest, most powerful reset.

It doesn’t require time or tools, just presence.

You can use it to calm your mind, boost your energy,
or bring yourself back to balance, wherever you are.

Breathe with me

A few words, a few breaths, a moment of awareness, that’s often all it takes to shift how I feel. These simple tools have become part of my everyday life. No matter what the day looks like or what happens, I can always use them because I always have them with me.
They remind me that my happiness depends on no one else but myself.

I guess it will work for you too, but there is only one way to find out: Try it.
